ATMATA INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES (AISS)- AISS is the training research and documentation department of the organization specially concentrating on academic as well as policy formulation matters. The study results by this center form the basis for formulation of projects of social significance to other NGOs in the field. AISS is equipped most modern facilities for effective understanding of the target groups. Cyber technology is always used in education and training sessions of the institute.

WORKSHOPS- AISS regularly conducts workshops on subjects of social significance.

TRAINERS TRAINING CAMPS- AISS conducts trainers training camps for the family life educators, AIDS awareness generation team, alcohol and drug prevention team etc.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING CAMPS- AISS conducts leadership camps for the leaders of Anti-liquor Movements, A.A.leaders (Alcoholic Anonimism),Youth leaders, School leaders etc.

CAMPS FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS- Camps are being conducted for school-college students and teachers to conscientize them against HIV/AIDS and Addiction.

ATMATA VISION

The Audio-Visual unit of ATMATA is well equipped with Computers Laptops , LCD Projectors, TV, VCR, VCD, Video camera Slide Projectors, Overhead Projectors, Sound systems etc. for conducting public awareness programmes classes, Seminars and camps for the prevention of addiction, HIV/AIDS and suicide.

ATMATA COUNSELING UNIT ATMATA -Kendram has a counseling unit for helping the needy in resolving the family conflicts, handling the children's problems, referring the addicted people to de-addiction centers etc.. The counseling sessions are handled by a team of professional social workers and psychologists.

ATMATA PUBLICATION- This department of ATMATA Kedram publishes IEC materials like, books, leaflets, pamphlets, illustrated stories, posters, periodicals etc. mostly in Malayalam on the prevention of Alcoholism, drug abuse, suicide and HIV/AIDS. This department also produces Video cassettes, slides and transparencies, PowerPoint presentation on the subject. ATMATA publications have prepared and distributed a manual on Alcohol and drug addiction for the reference other NGOs working in the field of de-addiction treatment and Rehabilitation.

K.C.B.C MADYA VIRUDHA SAMITHY- The movement started at All Kerala level in 1998 unclear the guidance of Bishop Dr. Susaipakkom, the first chairman of the movement . The Archdiocesan Units called ATMATA units are working all over the Changanacherry diocese. The Samithy's Central and Regional committees are also functioning.

MADYA VIRUDHA JANAKIYA MUNNANI- The Madya Virudha Janakiya Munnani started in 1997 has been functioning under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mar. Joseph Pallikkaparampil. ATMATA is a part of its State level co-ordinating Samithy.

ALL KERALA JOINT CHRISTIAN TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT- All Kerala Joint Christian Temperance Movement has Started in 1961 and since 1992 ATMATA has been a part of this movement and function as the Archdiocese wing of the movement. Now the Director of ATMATA is the Joint Secretary of the State Movement.

INDIAN SOCIETY ON TOBACCO AND HEALTH- ATMATA Kendram is functioning as the Changanacherry chapter of Indian society on Tobacco and Health. We work is association with the Indian society in prevention programmes, awareness creation programmes and in forming movement against tobacco. The programme also included Cancer detection and Cancer prevention programmes which were organized with the help of Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum.
